Stainless steel manways AISI 304/304L - features and applications

Manways AISI 304/304L, is a group of products made of low-carbon chromium-nickel steel, commonly used in the food industry. AISI 304/304L manways remain resistant to many working media, however, depending on their temperature and concentration. It is essential to remember to use a gasket in the manway made of a material suitably adapted to the working environment.

 

Manways made of AISI 304/304L steel are resistant to water, steam, humid air. They remain resistant to food acids, as well as some weak organic and inorganic acids.
