Stainless steel oval manway for wooden tanks (barrels) E140BL
The E140BL oval manway is installed in the side wall of a wooden tank (barrel). The cover of the manway, is connected to the flange with two hinges to ensure the stability of the structure. The cover, which opens outward, is closed with a single handwheel.
A distinctive feature of the manway is its flange with holes that allow the manway to be attached to the surface of the barrel.
The main area where the E140BL oval manway is used is wooden tanks used in wine production.
The use of oval manway E140BL
This model is structurally adapted for installation in wood. Therefore, most often the E140BL oval barrel manway is installed in large barrels intended for aging wine, whiskey or brandy.
It is also used with good effect in barrels intended for aging beer and storing other products of the industry:
