Round manway B400 and B400SC (with clamp closure)
Round manway B400 (as well as its version B400SC - without a hinge), is designed to successfully operate in a pallet tank. A properly selected gasket (EPDM or NBR), after clamping, forms a hermetic construction.
Both manway versions are manufactured from AISI 304 grade stainless steel. The B400 version is equipped with a hinge and handle as standard. The B400SC has a removable cover. The outer surface of the cover, as well as the frame (flange) and closure, are finished by pickling for both versions. On request, the manway can be fully polished, which guarantees a smooth and shiny surface.
Simple and solid design provides comfort of use even if the cover is opened/closed frequently. The manway is closed using a coupling with a safety pin to prevent the cover from unsealing.
The manway is manufactured in two versions:
- B400 (hinged version),
- B400SC (version without hinge).
By default, B400 and B400SC manways have a frame (H) height of 100 mm. It is possible to extend the flange to a height of up to 1000 mm on special request.
Round manway series BP400 and BP400SC - application
The main area of application for the manway are the food, dairy, beverage and liquor industries. They are also used with good results in fruit and vegetable processing, cosmetics, biotechnology and chemical industries.
Due to the use of a clamp closure in the manway, it will also work well in all kinds of pallet tanks and equipment where it is necessary to frequently and efficiently inspect the interior.
In general, it can be installed wherever the parameters of the materials used in its construction allow its application.
