Round thermoinsulated manway series BC440TD (with clamp closure)
Round insulated manway BC440TD with clamp closure is manufactured from AISI 304 grade stainless steel (optional AISI 316L). The key advantage of this model is the insulation of the cover and frame (flange), which is made of polyurethane foam.
Manways of the BC440TD series are manufactured in dimensions DN440 and DN495 (see the "dimensions" tab for details).
Simple and solid design provides comfort of use even if the cover is opened/closed frequently. The manway is closed using a coupling with a safety pin to prevent the cover from unsealing.
The manway cover is polished as standard (on request, the entire manway surface can be polished or satin-finished).
Round manway series BC440TD - application
The main area of application for the manway are the food, dairy, beverage and liquor industries. They are also used with good results in fruit and vegetable processing, cosmetics, biotechnology and chemical industries.
Due to the use of a clamp closure in the manway, it will also work well in all kinds of pallet tanks and equipment where it is necessary to frequently and efficiently inspect the interior.
Thermal insulation of manways is, moreover, an extremely desirable feature for road tankers and equipment exposed to frequent temperature changes.
In general, it can be installed wherever the parameters of the materials used in its construction allow its application.
