Stainless steel round manway E42/1S
Stainless round manway E42/1S with a diameter of 420 mm is designed primarily for installation in road tankers for transporting various types of liquid and semi-liquid food products. It is also possible to install it in the upper part (roof) of a stationary stainless steel tank.
Manways of this type are suitable for storage tanks for various liquid products in non-pressurized conditions, as well as for other process equipment.
The manway's hinged cover opens outwards. What's more, its convex design facilitates cleaning and prevents dirt and water from settling. The range of available mounting flange heights (see tab: dimensions) makes the manway suitable for installation in stainless steel tanks covered with a layer of thermal insulation.
Stainless steel round manway E42/1S - application
The E42/1S round manway is mainly installed in road tankers with an upper inspection opening, but also in stainless steel stationary tanks for storing various types of products. The main areas of application for this manway model are:
- food and dairy industry,
- beverage and alcohol production industry,
- vegetable and fruit processing.
It is also successfully used in cosmetic, biotechnology, chemical and similar industries.
