Round manways with clamp closure - features

Clamp manways are a unique category of circular manholes. Thanks to the edge coupling, the cover of the manway together with the gasket and frame (flange) form a hermetic barrier against external factors. Depending on the version, this type of manway is equipped with removable cover or hinged cover.

 

Some models are additionally equipped with an extended mounting frame and thermal insulation. Flat versions, with a low frame, are great for pallet tanks and other types of transport containers. Manways with clamp-type closures are usually installed in the roof of stainless steel tanks (upper/top manways).

 

Round manways with clamp closure are manufactured in a wide range of diameters from DN145 to DN1400. The working pressure of the manways ranges from 0.1 bar to over 4 bar.
