Large diameter round manways series B600 (with clamp closure)
Round clamp manways series B600 are manufactured in the diameter range from 606 mm to 1406 mm. The design of the manway - depending on its version - makes it possible to install it in the roof of large stainless steel tank or in the roof of cement silo.
A special hinge allows the cover to be lifted upwards and moved to the side.
On request, the manway can be equipped with additional elements, such as:
- safety grid (to prevent larger objects from falling into the device),
- two-way relief valve,
- additional manway with a smaller diameter (mounted in the cover).
Manways of this type are manufactured from stainless steel in AISI 316 grade. They are widely used in stainless steel tanks, especially those in food, chemical, biotechnology and related industries.
Simple and solid design provides comfort of use even if the cover is opened/closed frequently. The manway is closed using a coupling with a safety pin to prevent the cover from unsealing.
The manway cover is sanded as standard (on request, the entire manway surface can be polished).
By default, B600 manways have a frame (H) height of 100 mm. It is possible to extend the flange to a height of up to 1000 mm on special request.
Round manway series B600 - application
The main area of application for the manway are the food, dairy, beverage and liquor industries. They are also used with good results in fruit and vegetable processing, cosmetics, biotechnology and chemical industries.
The exceptionally large diameter of the B600 series manways (up to 1406 mm) allows them to be used in equipment where comfortable service access to the inside of the tank is often necessary.
In general, it can be installed wherever the parameters of the materials used in its construction allow its application.
