An additional advantage of small rectangular manways is that they can be installed in the side wall of non-pressure tanks. In this way, they are an excellent solution for basic inspection of the interior of the tank or device in which the manway is installed. A small rectangular manway will also work well as a cover for a tank's cleaning or draining opening.
Small size rectangular manways have sides less than 300 mm each. Among the most popular dimensions in this category are the options: 225x175 mm (or otherwise 175x225 mm). These manways come in vertical and horizontal versions, and are equipped with one or two handwheels that press the cover against the manhole frame.
