Round glass non-pressure manway XG400
Non-pressure round glass cover type XG400 provides the possibility of constant observation of the processes taking place in stainless steel tanks. This model is installed in the roof of the tank. As an option, manways of this series are equipped with a protective grid, which protects the interior of the tank from falling in accidental objects. What's more, this design provides additional safety for people working on the process.
Covers of this type are most commonly found in breweries and distilleries, but they are also successfully used in many other applications where constant visual inspection of tank contents is necessary.
The transparent cover of the XG400 circular manway is made of tempered soda-lime glass. The glass is 12 mm thick and performs well at temperatures up to +120°C. Standard stainless steel grade used for the covers is AISI 316L.
The use of XG400 manways with glass covers

- stainless steel tanks of various sizes.
With good results, the manway is successfully installed wherever the parameters of the materials used for its construction allow its application.
