Round manway K-PC for pipelines and pressure devices
Round pressure manway K-PC (manufactured in the range DN50-DN300) is a unique design, developed for use in steel tanks and industrial pipelines. All parts of the manway are made of two grades of stainless steel:
- AISI 316Ti (1.4571),
- AISI 316L (1.4404).
Such a solution significantly expands the possibilities of using the manway in applications requiring resistance to the corrosive effects of many chemicals or organic substances.
Depending on the version, the manway can be successfully installed in both horizontal and vertical positions. The appropriate shape of the manhole (frame) is provided during production. It is possible to have an option for installation both on a flat surface and on a pipeline with a specific diameter. The manway is therefore manufactured in two versions:
- with a straight frame (allowing the manway to be installed in the roof or wall of a stainless steel tank),
- with a cut-out frame (the manway frame is adapted to the diameter of the pipeline in a particular application).
Round manway K-PC - application
The main area of application for the manways included in this series are:
- industrial pipelines,
- stainless steel pressure tanks,
- chambers used in industrial environments,
- all kinds of process equipment.
The relatively small size of the opening allows technical services to make a basic inspection of the device in which the manway is installed. On the other hand, the solid construction and high-class materials used in production ensure long-term use of the product, including in environments with a higher risk of corrosion.
