Stainless steel manway W1/A - key features
The W1/A stainless steel round manway can be installed in the roof of a stainless steel tank. Its hinged lid opens outwards and can also be pushed aside. Moreover, the convex shape of the cover and its polished surface make it easy to clean and prevent the accumulation of dirt and water. As a standard, the manway cover is equipped with an EPDM gasket and a plastic handwheel.
The color of the handwheel may differ from the one shown in the pictures.
Application of W1/A stainless steel manways
Model W1/A is manufactured with mounting frames (flanges) from 60 mm to 500 mm in height. As a result, the manway can be installed in stainless steel tanks covered with thermal insulation. The W1/A manway cover is generally installed in stainless steel tanks for storing various types of liquid products, but it can also be successfully used in various process equipment.
Usually this type of manway is installed in stainless steel tanks used in:
- food industry,
- dairy industry,
- vegetable and fruit processing and many others.
It is also commonly used in non-pressure industrial equipment for example in cosmetic, biotechnology, chemical and related industries.
