Round manway series A980
Round manway series A980 is a typical design intended for installation in the roof of non-pressure stainless steel tanks of various purposes. Due to the closing method - from 3 to 6 clamps depending on the diameter, this type of manway is better suited for applications with lower frequency of opening/closing cycles. As standard, the manway is equipped with plastic handwheels (optional INOX or aluminum handwheels are available).
The A980 manway is produced in two versions - with a gasket on the frame (A980) or with a gasket in the cover (A980B). The cover of the A980 manway can be removed after loosening the screws and releasing the clamps. The smooth and convex surface of the cover does not retain water.
A large range of mounting frame heights is available, so the manhole can be easily built into stainless steel insulated tanks.
The use of stainless steel round manway series A980
The main area of application is:
- food industry,
- vegetable and fruit processing,
- beverage and alcohol production,
- tanks for storing chemical products.
It is also used with good results in all types of non-pressurized industrial equipment requiring increased corrosion resistance.In general, the manway can be installed wherever the parameters of the materials used in its construction allow the application.
