Round manway series A1020
Round manway series A1020 is a solid construction, which is made of AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel. A large plastic handwheel allows quick opening. Two arms allow better distribution of pressure forces and ensure enhanced tightness of the entire assembly. Optional M14 INOX butterfly handwheels are available.
Manways of this type are manufactured in two versions - with a gasket on the frame (A1020) or with a gasket in the cover (A1020B). The A1020 series manway is installed in the roof of the stainless steel tank. Thanks to its convexity and polished surface, the hinged cover of the A1020 series manway makes it easier for water to run off when cleaning equipment and tanks.
A large range of mounting frame heights is available, so the manway can be easily built into stainless steel insulated tanks.
The use of stainless steel round manway series A1020
The main area of application is:
- food and dairy industry,
- beverage and alcohol production,
- chemical storage tanks.
It is also used with good effect in all types of non-pressurized industrial equipment requiring periodic access for maintenance or inspection. In general, the manway can be installed wherever the parameters of the materials used in its construction allow the application.
