Industrial mild steel manway X10311

Industrial manway X10311 (DN500) is manufactured entirely from S235JR grade steel. The construction of the manway made of mild steel allows it to be used in a wide range of industrial applications where stainless steel is not preferred.

The manway is equipped with a frame (height of 60 mm) and a hinged cover with handwheel. The large internal diameter of the manway (500 mm) allows free inspection of the interior of the chamber or tank where the manway is installed. A solid arm supports the cover during opening and closing.

This type of manway is an excellent accessory to many technical projects in the field of agriculture, chemical industry or even energy sector.

The use of industrial manway X10311

The main areas of application for this type of manway are:

  • non-pressure mild steel tanks,
  • industrial chambers,
  • other process equipment used in industrial conditions.

The large opening gives maintenance staff easy access to the inside of the tank or chamber. Therefore, this model is often used as an inspection and service manway.
