Stainless steel manway W2/E - key features
The W2/E stainless steel rectangular manway can be mounted in the side wall or in the roof of the non-pressure stainless steel tank. The hinged cover opens outwards and is pressed by a handwheel. As a standard the manway is equipped with an EPDM gasket and a plastic handwheel.
The color of the handwheel may be different from the one shown in the pictures.
The use of the rectangular manway W2/E
Due to its small dimensions and compact construction, the W2/E rectangular manway can be installed not only in tanks but also in various types of gastronomic equipment made of stainless steel. A natural working environment for this model are therefore food production plants, including dairies, distilleries, confectionery plants, manufacturers of concentrates and related products.
There is no obstacle to its successful use in other industries as well - among others, in the
- chemical industry,
- cosmetic industry,
- biotechnological industry.
It can also be used by manufacturers of small tanks, cisterns, distillers and many other machines and devices. When planning the use of this type of manway in a particular application, it is necessary to take into account the properties of materials used for its construction, to avoid problems with corrosion and resistance to temperature and chemical factors.
