Oval manway Boyer series P21-516 is designed for installation in non-pressure tanks. It is available in two versions:
- vertical (P21-516),
- horizontal (P21-517).
The manway cover is supported by a solid arm together with an external hinge. The design of this type allows the cover to be safely opened and closed. Oval manways Boyer P21-516 and P21-517 are especially well suited for places where frequent washing or flushing of tanks is necessary. The convex cover does not retain water and facilitates its rapid runoff. When selecting a manway for a specific application, remember to take into account the parameters of the materials and components used in its construction.
Manway components are manufactured from stainless steels in grades AISI 304L and/or AISI 316L. It is possible to produce a special version of the manway for use in potentially explosive areas - ATEX for non-electrical equipment.
Oval manways P21-516 i P21-517 - application
Oval manways P21-516 and P21-517 are installed in stainless steel tanks and process equipment. The main areas of application for this manway model are:
- food and dairy industry,
- beverage and alcohol production industry,
- vegetable and fruit processing.
